SMIIC MC Training in Preparing a Calibration & Testing Laboratories for Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025

The 39th SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2024 – 2026 V3 was the The Training in Preparing a Calibration & Testing Laboratories for Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 on the 14 July 2026 virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat.  24 experts participated in the training.

The training was hosted by NMI:  Emirates Metrology Metrology  (EMI) 

General Description: Training in Preparing Calibration and Testing Laboratories for Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 provides essential knowledge of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, enabling laboratories to establish and implement a compliant management system and prepare successfully for accreditation.

Objective, expected outcome: To equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills to implement ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, ensure technical competence, and prepare calibration and testing laboratories for accreditation.

Who should attend: This course is designed for laboratory managers, quality managers, technical managers, calibration and testing engineers, metrologists, laboratory personnel, internal auditors, and professionals involved in laboratory accreditation and quality management systems.
