The importance of the Islamic Halal Accreditation Forum lies in contributing to the implementation of a clear and transparent system for halal products and services in accordance with Sharia controls and technical requirements, which are in line with global practices, while completing the quality infrastructure in the Islamic member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), through integration with the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) and establishing a mechanism for the continuous development of the work of this forum, through studying the best practices among the member states and the committees of the relevant bodies. 

This forum will ensure the representation of various stakeholders (accreditation bodies, conformity assessment bodies, legislators, consumers, etc.) and will also open new economic areas that enhance inter-trade, as well as opening new job opportunities globally in specialized fields that provide the elements of creativity and knowledge development.
